Foil with improved print quality

Pak-Hurt sp. z o. o. implemented the project entitled “Implementation of a new technology for the production of foil packaging with improved print quality.” No. POIR.03.02.02-00-2709/20.
The project was implemented in the years 2021-2023 and was co-financed under Sub-measure 3.2.2: Loan for technological innovations
The effect of the completed project is the launch of production of improved products compared to those previously manufactured in the plant, in the form of a range of products made of printed LDPE foil with better printing quality parameters. The improved product can be used in particular for packaging hygiene, food and construction products, as well as for the production of bags with prints.
As a result of the project, we achieved the following improvements in our products:
improved adhesion of paint to the foil, thanks to which the print’s susceptibility to scratching and abrasion has significantly decreased,
in the case of laminated products, there was an increase in the achieved lamination strength, which resulted in a decrease in the probability of the risk of delamination – delamination of the product,
in the case of some products, the need to varnish the print was eliminated to protect it against abrasion and scratching of the print, thus reducing the final cost of the product,
reduction of the rate of increase of the halftone dot during printing, reduced defects manifested by: change of color during printing, appearance of undesirable dots or shadows, increase in print graininess, blurring of gentle tonal transitions.
